Age Limit: 20-44 years (Candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2003 are eligible, with age relaxation for OBC and SC/ST)
Technical Education, Public Works, Public Health Engineering, Industrial, Architecture, and Town Planning Department Officers: Eligible with age relaxation; maximum age 50 years as of 01.01.2023
Educational Qualifications
Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least 60% marks
Note: Equivalency for qualifications, Gazette notification for caste/community differences
Other Requirements
Probation: Two years
Defence Services Obligation: Minimum of four years of service, applicable for the first ten years of service and usually under 40 years of age
