Eligibility and Appointment

Educational Qualifications

  • Essential: Postgraduate Degree in Physics with at least 50% marks
  • Preferential: M.Phil in Physics, and two years of research/analytical experience

Other Requirements

  • Visual Standards: Must meet specific standards; a medical certificate may be needed
  • Probation: Two years
  • Training: Six months training in all branches of Forensic Science, with additional discipline-specific training
